A previous incarnation of the show toured to 43 venues

Originally titled "Mother, Wife & the Complicated Life" the first version of the show enjoyed success in venues across Australia prior to undergoing extensive development and workshopping, resulting in the new version of the show, now titled The (M)other Life.

Popjam Productions produced the original version successfully, and produced these tours independently.  The show was a financial success, and garnered audience and critical acclaim.   The 2015 tour was a 43-show national tour including Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane and regional theatres such as the Wagga Civic Centre, Lighthouse Theatre Warrnambool and Glasshouse Port Macquarie.
